2020年1月，中國開始流行新冠狀肺炎(COVID-19)，而我們決定成為防疫旅館。
In January 2020, China started Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. The reason why we decide to be an epidemic prevention hotel.

2020年3月， 有一個英國人來台灣旅行時住在背包棧旅店-西門店。 在此期間，政府突然宣布，所有從歐洲來台灣的人都必須要居家檢疫。我們盡力幫助他聯絡政府相關單位，希望幫他轉到正式的防疫旅館或防疫中心，但是當時沒有可訂的防疫旅館。 In March 2020, there was a British guy lived in Backpackers Hostel Ximen for traveling Taiwan. During the time, the government suddenly announced that all European who came to Taiwan for traveling need to be quarantined. We tried to help him, however, there was no available prevention hotel for offering.
最後我們與台北市政府觀光傳播局討論後，我們提供了一個單獨的房間供他防疫隔離。 After discussing with Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government ,we provided a private room for this guest.

我們每天幫他量體溫，送餐點，並使用通訊軟體給予支持和鼓勵。 Every day we checked body temperature, delivered meals, and used communication app to give support and concern.
最後，這位英國人完成了檢疫，他對一切都表示感謝，如果將來有機會來台灣，背包棧旅店-西門店將是他的訂房的首選。 Finally, the British guy finished quarantine, and said he’s thankful for everything, if there’s a chance in the future, Taiwan will be his top travel choice.
在那個事件時，我們決定成為一家正式的防疫旅館，為我們國家的防疫工作盡一份心力. After this incident, we decided to become an official anti-pidemic hotel to do our best for the anti-epidemic work in our country.
